I kept seeing the same problems. Designs optimised for CAD instead of manufacture. FEA run without realistic load cases. Products that passed a review but failed in the field. Engineers who'd never held a spanner advising manufacturers on what was possible.

Carchrie Engineering exists to catch those problems early. I started it in 2019 after 12 years in industry — across production vehicle development, bicycle hardware, and consumer products — because I'd seen what happens when structural and manufacturing reality is treated as someone else's problem.

My background spans the full cycle — as the mechanic who fixed it, the designer who created it, the manufacturer who had to build it, and the customer who relied on it. That's not a marketing line — it's the reason we catch things other reviewers miss.
